      Engineer Interview

      22 Dec 2009
      Anonymous employee
      Austin, TX
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at AT&T (Austin, TX) in May 2007

      Interview

The process began with an internal online application for the job. This was followed by an informal phone interview, a test regarding units of measurements conversion and some logic questions. If the test is 'passed" a 1 on 1 interview takes place with the hiring manager. The entire process was approximately 2 weeks.

      Interview

AT&T hosted an interview session at the Rutgers University Career Services center for an engineering position. Overall it was a mass interview with hundreds of people scheduled that day. The process seemed fairly impersonal and was more to meet an interview quota set by the school
