Call Center Customer Service Representative Interview

      6 May 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Saginaw, MI
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T (Saginaw, MI) in Apr 2014

      Interview

I was contacted through a recruiter that they was having a hiring event in Saginaw, MI. I filled out the application prior to going to the hiring event. The next day an instructor from the call center called me to come in before the hiring event took place to take part of the assessment test. I went in and took the test and EVERYBODY passed it so I'm thinking it was gonna be a little difficult getting the job. About a couple days later the recruiter called me for an interview that would take place the next day. The interview wasn't that tough because I have been in retail and sales for 6 years so I knew how to answer those questions already. I was interviewed by two people and then at the end I did a role play with the manager. After the interview I got a tour of the office and met some people. I also got the opportunity to listen in to a rep and get his perspective of how it is to work there. Once I left there about 1 hour after the interview the recruiter called me to extend a contingent job offer. I was sent my background check info through my email and they use a company called hireright. THEY CHECK EVERYTHING so make sure you are honest and upfront about anything that may come back to haunt you on the background check. I also received my drug test papers as well and took it the same day. After about a week of being nervous the recruiter finally extended me my final offer and that training starts on May 12th. I can honestly say that I am VERY proud to be apart of the BIGGEST wireless company in the world.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T (Farmers Branch, TX) in May 2016

      Interview

I applied to the position on May 6th of this year. I received an email that same day inviting me to schedule an interview for a conference call via web or phone on the 9th. The next day I was sent another email to take the assessment test. 3 days later on the 13th I got another email from HR stating that I passed the assessment and it was time to schedule my phone interview which was on the 16th. Next was the face to face on May 27th (because I was out of town). I actually interviewed with the Director. I then received a callback the same day with an offer and start date. The start date was for July 11th. I spent the majority of last month completing new hire paperwork. Everything was done by the time we started.
