      Technology Development Program Interview

      28 Sept 2022
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture in Sept 2022

      Interview

During Aug-Sept 2022, I interviewed for the Accenture Summer Analyst intern position in the technology development program. There were 3 parts: 1. Screening Interview (~30 mins) I spoke with a recruiter over the phone. Our conversation went pretty smoothly. They only ask like 2-3 questions. Make sure to know what Accenture does and why you would want to work for them. The rest of the convo is the recruiter talking about what the position entails, and asking about what languages/tech you know and how long you've been working with those. 2. Presentation/Scenarios Interview (~45 mins) I got a final round invitation ~2 weeks after my screening. You have to prepare a 10 min presentation, which I think people have already talked about on here, so I won't go into detail on that. My advice for this would be to put some effort into it (obviously), but keep in mind that the interviewers aren't super concerned with the actual content of your presentation, they're more looking for how you present your topic and if you know your topic really well. Slides were optional, but I made some to make a better impression. After that, the interviewer asked me some basic questions like why I chose this topic, how do I think it would be helpful in the future, etc. Then, the interviewer gives a couple of scenarios which you might encounter at work. You have ~1 min to come up with how you would respond to that. They might ask some follow up questions after your answer. I don't think I did really well during this part, but even when I messed up, the interviewer was really patient and made me feel at ease. Overall, this was genuinely a really pleasant interview, even though I was kind of nervous. The interviewer was really easy to talk and connect to, and I enjoyed our conversation a lot. 3. Strengths Interview (~45 mins) After a 15 min break from the Scenarios Interview, you enter the Strengths Interview with a different interviewer. During this round, the interviewer asks around ~15-20 questions, some of them about how you work on projects, how would you connect to other employees, etc. This is purely a behavioral interview, so you don't need to brush up on anything technical. I would also say this portion went pretty smoothly. I received my offer only a few days after. Overall, a pretty good interview experience!
