The AMAZON - Worstazon Interview experience My interview was scheduled at Amazon firstly for QA engineer. I cleared first round and got selected for second round. On the day of interview I joined the meeting link and awaited interviewer did not turned up. After waiting so long I called HR and informed about this and I was told that we will reschedule your interview. After waiting so long, no response from HR. After several reminders finally HR told that we have closed that position and now I am referring you for compliance associate and scheduling your interview. On being acceptance I gave interview today and I got so much surprised, on interview being saying to me not fit for this role. After waiting so long, I have to listen this, very much disappointed for this act from so much big firm like Amazon. Want to highlight: 1. If hr not being trained while scheduling cv 2. Hr not being trained whether this job is technical/ non technical 3. Is it correct to make a candidate wait and then align for any job. 4. Giving time for interview and interviewer doesn't turn up, no courtesy email, no matter the candidate takes out time from his busy schedule. 5. After being aligned to wrong job, the panel humiliates, is the correct way? Amazon promises for his excellence, is this way they do? Not expected from company like Amazon. At least it should be understood in this tough situation of COVID-19, where people are struggling to get jobs and in return we are getting these kind of experiences not only makes the morale down but also fears the new people who are going to be part of Amazon family future. I am really disappointed Amazon. Kindly do not do these kind of recruitments in this situation for COVID- 19.
