Applied online, got an interview invite a month later, didn't get a notification about the date and time of the interview until the last minute, so preparing was extremely stressful

Question 1
Snap fit, deformation (cantilever beam), some behavioral questions, lots of hypothetical questions about how I would design and manufacture something
They did not show up to the interview twice! When I finally got to interview they were not very personable. Asked maybe 1 STAR type question. The rest were technical questions.

First run (Phone call by hiring manager)
HR sent a email to list many focuses that will be asked in the interview.
- FEA, solid mechanics knowledge, structural design analysis, material characterization
- Coding, automation scripting (the team uses Python and MATLAB)
- Amazon leadership principles.

No behavioral question.
Ask me to introduce myself at the beginning and then followed by asking tons of questions regarding the projects I have conducted in PhD.
Many technical questions about finite element method (mech; explicit vs. implicit ..... etc.); failure modes....
