      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Apple (Singapore) in Jun 2018

      Interview

Phone screening by recruiter, followed by two rounds of F2F interviews. First round was with the hiring manager and a teammate. Second round was with another manager and a supervisor. No prior email was sent by the recruiter, received the call suddenly during lunch and the screening and questions began, however I managed to secure the interview with the hiring manager. Hiring manager was tardy, only received me at the reception 10 minutes after the scheduled time. During the interview, he was condescending and seemed disinterested. After 45 minutes, he said he had no more questions and gave me time to ask him some before we wrapped up. As soon as I was done with my questions, he suddenly began the interview process again by asking generic scenario questions. It was an incredibly off-putting and unprofessional session. Two weeks went by without an update, and I had to reach out to the recruiter. To his credit, he responded promptly and scheduled a phone call to arrange the second round. The second round was a better experience, the interviewers were more engaged and actually came on time. I was told this would be the final around and that the recruiter will contact me with either the offer or rejection. Two weeks after the interview, the recruiter sent me an email saying that he had an update and asked if I had time to speak with him, this was a Monday. I responded immediately saying that he could reach me anytime but never received a call or response. After many emails attempting to reach out to him, he finally called me ten days after his initial email for the update. Frustratingly, the update was only to inform me that the hiring managing was still making a decision, and I should hear from him within two weeks. This could have easily been communicated via email, rather than having to spend an entire week scheduling a phone call. Finally two weeks after the phone call, I received an email from the recruiter's colleague (he was out of office) that they have decided to move forward with another candidate. The entire recruiting process, especially the wait times in between rounds was incredibly frustrating. After this experience, it is obvious that Apple Singapore does not the time that a candidate invests in the process.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Apple (Cork) in Aug 2020

      Interview

Good, very casual process, not a lot of formality, very focused on previous jobs and roles that benefit CNP transactions. Can't think of anything else really. Everything else was just a long process of waiting
