I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Apple (Lon) in Feb 2021
Interview
Supper fast and fun went by really quick. They didn’t ask any hard questions about me. Really nice people doing interesting stuff all the time every day. Looks like a great place to work
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Apple (Columbus, OH) in Mar 2020
Interview
There were three rounds. First one was an introductory call with the recruiter. Second round was about 45 minute call with the Team Manager and a senior member of the team. Interview has some basic questions about sheet metal forming and tooling. Third round was an intensive round. It lasted about 5 hours and I met different people at Apple who would be interacting with a person in the tooling engineer role. There were a lot of questions checking the candidate's knowledge about sheet metal forming, GD&T and manufacturing process and lean manufacturing.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Interviewer showed me some metal products. Question was how would you manufacture each of these?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Apple (Cupertino, CA) in May 2015
Interview
Standard phone interview, then two on site interviews. Some people were late or did not show. This caused rescheduling. A long list of written questions and several projects were asked for which was really too much for an interview.
