      Application

I interviewed at Apple (Boulder, CO)

      Interview

The interviewer asked general questions in the first round of the interview, which lasted for an hour. In the second round, the interviewer went in-depth with the block diagrams explained by the interviewee. This suggests that the interviewer was impressed with the interviewee's knowledge and skills, and wanted to learn more about their ability to understand and apply theoretical concepts to real-world problems. Here are some specific examples of questions that the interviewer might have asked in the first round: Tell me about your experience with embedded systems. What are the different types of communication protocols? Can you explain the difference between a microcontroller and a microprocessor? What are the advantages and disadvantages of using Python for embedded systems development? In the second round, the interviewer might have asked more specific questions about the block diagrams that the interviewee explained. For example: Can you explain the purpose of each block in the diagram? How do the blocks interact with each other? What are the challenges of implementing this system? How would you improve the system? Overall, the two rounds of interviews suggest that the interviewer was very interested in the interviewee's skills and knowledge in embedded systems. The interviewer's questions were challenging but fair, and they gave the interviewee a chance to demonstrate their abilities.
