      Manufacturing Process Development Engineer Interview

      23 Feb 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Santa Clara, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Apple (Santa Clara, CA) in May 2013

      Interview

Entire process was professional and very enjoyable. I've always believed Apple's HR to be the best. Prompt, professional, and very willing to help the candidate get the job. Technical questions were okay, but the interviewers were more interested in whether or not I was able to figure out processes. I think they understood that I didn't know all of their secrets, but wanted to see if they could train me.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What changes would you make to the iPhone 5 to reduce cosmetic scratches? How do you think the outer casing was made? How would you dispense adhesive in accurately and with control?
