I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Arup (Nottingham, England) in Jan 2023
Interview
I was approached by an Arup recruiter for the role and had a pre screening call with standard questions and confirmed the expected salary which they said would not be an issue. After the formal interview process the recruiter called and said the team are keen on me but could no longer offer the salary previously agreed or anything close to that. A huge waste of my time! For a Civil Engineer role they were offering close to what I started on as Graduate Civil Engineer 3 years ago. I expected better from Arup. I responded saying I’ll accept them matching my current salary (still lower than what was previously agreed) and they never got back to me.
it was good and the interviewer made me comfortable during the interview session, explain to me on the job functions and responsibilities. The office is spacious and comfortable to work there.

Interview
It is a bet difficult to fully sell yourself using their video screening process. It is a lot easier to expand on your experience and expertise in a face to face setting.
I applied online. I interviewed at Arup (Madrid) in Jul 2024
Interview
Desorganizado, los entrevistadores no seguían una estructura y no habían preparado la entrevista, repitiendo las mismas preguntas varias veces. No me preguntaron nada acerca de mi futuro o mis objetivos.
