I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Arup (Brisbane) in May 2023
Interview
The two interviewers gave me an introduction of themselves and their roles at ARUP. I was asked to introduce myself too. This led to two-way discussions, it felt very natural and flowed smoothly. They embedded the ARUP company culture well and I really appreciated their open communication about their work. Questions flowed naturally from both sides. I probably ended up asking more questions about the job than they did for me.
I applied online. I interviewed at Arup (London, England) in Nov 2024
Interview
Interview process was okay. Had an assessment and written interview form - why do you want to work here + Arups values ect.
They told me I'd find out the outcome in 5 days but took over a month despite me asking for an outcome every week. Horrible feedback, shameful really.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The assessment center was 2 tasks, one where you're presented with a building and comparing the pros and cons of a refurb or demolition and rebuild. The other was about reducing heat in urban environments.
