Interview was scheduled through a third party agency. The interviewee asked really nice technical questions which I enjoyed answering them , at the end of interview I was sure they would schedule next round. However they sent an email next day saying they can’t go ahead with the interview. I didn’t take this personally as Bangalore companies are only looking out for candidates who are from their locality. Hiring someone from other state is a gamble for them as they are uncertain whether the candidate will really join the organisation. (Usually candidates don’t join and show the offer letter to other organisation and get recruited by matching the salary ). One thing I learnt from appearing from interviews is that regardless of how excellent you’re technically , if the interviewee doesn’t likes you , they don’t let you pass the second round. Also I would recommend the candidates appearing for interview for iOS here is not to enlighten the interviewee with your knowledge and don’t argue with them even if they are wrong.
