      I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Barclays (Northampton, England)

      Interview

      Professional. Done using competency based interviewing = 'I' did this not 'we' did this. Use STAR principles (and go easy on the 'S'). Senior level is a broad church, sometimes better to impress at non-senior level and get promoted as less pressure in new environment. Hiring process can go quickly or very slowly

      There should be no unexpected questions as its competency based, just need to recognise what the question is about and provide the evidence from experience, skills, knowledge.
