The interview was virtual. There were two interviewers, the person who was vacating the role (promoted to another position) and their manager. Neither turned on their camera. It made me incredibly uncomfortable to sit and talk to two black boxes for an hour, trying to be upbeat. I thought it was hostile and unwelcoming to do that to a candidate.
