I applied online. I interviewed at CAP Index in Dec 2025
Interview
I interviewed with CAP Index and initially met with the Vice President of Operations and Administration before advancing to a second round with the Chief Revenue Officer and Executive Vice President, who the role would support directly, as well as the Executive Director of Global Accounts.
The second interview was framed as me “interviewing them” and asking my questions. I came prepared with a detailed list covering work style, priorities, gaps, and how this brand new role could best support them. They were highly engaged, repeatedly commented on the quality of my questions, and noted that no one had ever asked many of them before. We even went over time due to the strong rapport.
I was told I would definitely hear back by the end of the week. I did not. A polite follow up email the following week received no response, and I never heard from anyone at the company again.
Choosing another candidate is completely understandable. Ghosting a candidate after two interview rounds with three senior leaders is not. It is unprofessional, disrespectful, and a poor reflection of how the company values people’s time.

Question 1
Where else are you interviewing? [They didn't ask any real questions about me and, instead, asked me to "interview them"]
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CAP Index (Exton, PA) in Mar 2023
Interview
Had two interviews with the company. The first one, they basically asked about the skills mentioned in the job application and if I was familiar or worked with these skills. Then, they gave me a coding assessment to work on. They were pretty lenient with the time offered on the assessment. If you do well on the assessment, you'd have a second interview. The president was in the second interview and it was more or less like the first one. They asked questions about how you would handle a tough project, ways you were keeping up with technology, and a project you were proud of. They will also go over the assessment in the second interview. Small company, but seemed like an overall good place to work at.

Question 1
Are you familiar/worked with C#? Do you have experience with APIs? Do you have experience creating methods for SQL objects? What was a project you were proud of once completed? Since technology is always adapting, how are some ways you are keeping up with it? How were you able to apply this to your job?
