      Application

      I interviewed at Capita

      Interview

After stating what days I'd be available for the interview process during my application, I received a phone call on the day I'd stated I was unavailable. The HR worker left a message on my voicemail and said she'd try again. After a day and a half of radio silence, I tried to ring her instead, but didn't get through to her. I left a voice message to let her know that I was reachable. Less than half an hour later, I got a NoReply-eMail claiming they had sent a previous eMail which said they would withdraw my application if I didn't respond within 24 hours. There was no such prior eMail, and the fact that it happened shortly after I reached out to them tells me that they must have forgotten about me and believed it would be easier to just automatically reject me with no explanation. This is extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
