      Senior Fraud Intake Representative Interview

      20 Sept 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Tampa, FL
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Capital One (Tampa, FL) in Aug 2016

      Interview

The interview process was pretty straightforward! Upon applying, I received an email requesting that I complete a Virtual Interview. Upon doing so, I was asked about 7-10 pre-recorded questions and recorded my answers. You get two attempts to answer, which is slightly intimidating, but if you stay calm and just try to act as though you're speaking to someone and not yourself, you'll do just fine. I got a call the next day with details about the position and to schedule an interview. Went in for my interview the following week, had to answer a series of behavioral questions, such as "Name a time when you had to deal with a difficult customer" and some role play questions as well, acting as though you work in the department and are receiving a call from the customer with an issue. They are not focused so much on the procedures as you obviously don't know them yet, just how you would handle the situation. I received a call offering the position later that week, but unfortunately couldn't work with the shifts available.

      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Tampa, FL)

      Interview

There was a virtual interview first. I think it was about 5 questions. Once you record there is no second chance so keep that in mind. Depending on how quickly they're looking to fill the position the get back to you pretty quickly. After the virtual interview, there is an in person interview as well, but that might be because I live near a site. They may do phone interviews for those not around a CapOne site. I don't remember specifically many of the questions, but I prepared for the interview by looking up questions online and using Glassdoor and I was well prepared for the interview that way. My interviewer was kind, personable. It's all very relaxed so just remain professional, but also be yourself there was no pressure.

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One in Aug 2015

      Interview

I applied online, 2 days later I received an email for a virtual one way interview. I submitted my interview and received a phone call from a recruiter 2 days later. The benefits and position details were discussed more, base pay was around 13.50 plus shift differentials if I chose a later shift, and I was scheduled for an in person interview the following week. The interview was behavioral. Afterwards, I was told I'd hear back in the next few days one way or another about my offer status.
