Interview
A recruiter called the morning after I applied to schedule an interview. The enxt day she called as planned. The recruiter was very friendly and asked many "get to know you" questions. She also explained the job expectations, salary and incentives. At the end of our conversation, she moved me forward to have an interview with a hiring manager. I went an email with the interview date and time and information about behavioral interviewing techniques.
On the day of my interview (over the phone), I was asked to call a phone line with a passcode. The manager arrived on time. She gave valuable information on daily expectations, salary and start date. I was asked 3 "tell me a time when" questions, why I wanted to work for the company and what I expected.
She didn't let on about my answers which left me quite nervous as to the outcome of our call. My interview fell just before the weekend so I didn't receive a response until the following tuesday.
When interviewing, it's best to be prepared with a list of your {personal} past experiences. Take your time to answer and make sure you use the STAR method. = Situation, Task, Action, Result. Be specific in your answers and don't be afraid to talk about good and bad experiences. Also, it is okay to speak about your achievements!

Question 1
Tell me a time when you spoke to a customer about a sensitive subject?
I just spent my whole night completing an assessment for what seemed like a call center role, only to be rejected immediately after answering personal questions about my high school education, age, and when I started providing for myself. It felt incredibly uncomfortable and awkward. This experience was violating, and to top it off, I got immediately denied by a computer and told to apply again in 6 months. I won’t be doing that.
