Operations Production Coordinator (Ops Production Coordinator) Interview

      29 Jan 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Glen Allen, VA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Capital One (Glen Allen, VA) in Dec 2013

      Interview

I was referred to the position by a friend who currently works for Capital One. I applied online the first week of November 2013. Never heard back. I emailed their HR department the first week of December to see if the position was still open and they told me yes, it was and that I had done everything I was supposed to at that point. I just decided that I would be patient. A week later, my friend contacted me and told me to withdraw my original app because the requisition number for the position had changed and I need to reapply using the new number. I did and within days a recruiter contacted me to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview was behavioral. Easy peasy for a customer service vet like myself. I was then scheduled for an in-person interview with one of the most down-to-earth, approachable managers I've ever come across! Loved her! My recruiter called me three days later to offer me the job! I also received an emailed job offer contingent on successful background. Several more weeks passed while my background check commenced. I got my final "Welcome to Capital One!" phone call this past Monday! Whoo hoo!
