      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Capital One (Dallas, TX)

      Interview

Overall it was a lengthy process. Contacted by a recruiter for a phone interview. The interview consisted of the recruiter asking me several questions such as: Explain your experience? Tell me about a time when you had a difficult customer? Tell me about a time when you had to coach an employee? Tell me about a time when you feel behind on you goals? Remember to be very specific, explain the situation, your behavior, and the outcome. After the phone interview I was sent a link to complete an assessment. The assessment was comprised of two parts, behavioral and math questions. After completed the test, I was contacted immediately to schedule a phone interview. The recruiter informed me that it was a three step interview process. Two meetings with district officers and a final interview with the market manager. I was also asked to complete a 30-60-90 business plan, The interviews with the district officers was easy going. In addition to the questions above, I was asked about my managing style, and what I would bring to the branch. The DO's stressed that all branches operate as a franchise and they was seeking someone to drive sales results. After meeting with the DO's. I was contacted to meet with the market manager. The interview was easy going as well. Her interview was more structured she used an interview guide and only asked four questions. Tell me about yourself? Difficult customer scenario Difficult employee Time where you feel short of goals scenario After this interview I was contacted and an offer was presented. Make sure that you visit the branch you are applying for and that you have some knowledge of the area.
