Advanced all the way through the recruitment process only to find out that the hiring team decided to re-level the position to which I applied due to a re-org. Pretty disappointing considering the amount of time both Capital One and I invested in the process. Apparently, Capital One often goes through re-orgs, which result in layoffs and positions being eliminated. However, my recruiter was awesome and expressed her compassion and sympathy for the business change.
