      Administrative Interview

      16 Sept 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      McLean, VA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Capital One (McLean, VA) in Sept 2021

      Interview

Hiring dept reached out and sent links to behavioral assessments. Then set up 2 interviews. Afterward, they made it sound like it was a done deal. Then I got a message that I didn't score high enough on behavioral assessment. No opportunity to discuss assessment, retake, and you're not allowed to apply for any other positions for 6 mos. It was a whiplash process and totally discouraging.

      Interview

Behavioral questions. Arrived at 11:30am left at 2pm met with about 4 people back to back. A lot of the questions were repeated- I believe time would have been better managed if all 4 met w/ me at once.

      Administrative Interview

      20 Oct 2014
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Capital One

      Interview

Everyone seemed really happy. Rapid expansion, almost everyone I talked to had only been at they company less than a year. I had an inbound invitation to come interview and was pursued heavily.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Incredibly long and frustrating application process that was incredibly unnecessary. They probably invested $2,000 in the job application process before eventually turning me down.
