I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Citizens (Buffalo Grove, IL) in Jul 2012
Interview
The branch was in a rush to hire, so uncommonly, my application skipped the typical HR phone call interview. The branch manager called me first, as she had access to the applicants. I came in very shortly for an interview, where I sat down with the Branch Manager, Assistant Manager, and Teller Supervisor.

Question 1
Tell us a time you disagreed with your supervisor and how you responded. Tell us a time you went above and beyond with customer service. And another customer service type of question that I can't remember.
First you have to complete an online assessment, that once completed is valid for 6 months. If you passed the assessment they schedule an in-person interview at the branch where they ask questions about your education and experiences , to tell about yourself, also role play where you need to respond using the STAR method and its also good to do a little bit of research about the bank and the credit cards they offer.

Question 1
Tell me about a difficult situation you had at your previous job and how did you handle it?
There were 2 interview processes which included one over the phone that asked generic questions and the other in person with the branch manager. Very smooth process and heard back within a week.

Question 1
Customer service experience, what would I do in a difficult situation
I applied online. I interviewed at Citizens (York, PA) in Aug 2023
Interview
The interview process was hard for a teller position that wasn’t anything special. The interview was a bit rude. I was professionally dressed and have a degree in business yet she was short in wording and never got a call or email after.
