I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Coast + Coast Fundraising (Surrey, BC) in Apr 2016
Interview
I went to the interview no knowing it was a D2D fundraising job.
The first interview was brief but the interviewer did not mention the exact work or explain much about the company that I couldn't find online. The questions asked covered the basics of experience, education, hobbies and values etc.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Coast + Coast Fundraising (Calgary, AB) in Apr 2017
Interview
I didn't apply for the position. I got an email saying that the company reviewed my resume on Workopolis and it seemed to them that I was a great fit. I was scheduled for the interview the following day with the woman. But apparently she was too busy, so a guy interviewed me. It looked weird as I was waiting at the reception and just a random guy with the coffee mug in his hands showed up like he was actually heading to the washroom, saw me, and then changed his plans and interviewed me instead.
It was short interview, he asked what i know about the company, i was a bit unsure as I had to google the email of the lady that contacted me at first. But when I showed up at the address I was given for the interview it didn't state anywhere Coast to Coast. But when i answered about Coust to Coast, it was a correct answer.
I was told that there will be a secondary interview in a week time and that they will contact me. In a week time I sent a follow up email, but didn't get any reply. It looked all like a scam after all. They may be use Coast to Coast name.
I applied online. I interviewed at Coast + Coast Fundraising (Calgary, AB) in Mar 2017
Interview
Applied online for what I thought was a Customer Service Representative position, was emailed a reply within 2 days, set up interview 3 days after online submission through Indeed. I arrived 10 minutes early as I usually do for interviews. Was scheduled to meet with a woman, but a man interviewed me instead. Brief over view of company, in business 4 years, primarily soliciting donations for Amnesty International. My immediate thought was 'this is not customer service' if i'm soliciting donations from non-customers, it's marketing or soliciting. The interviewer was not prepared for the interview, did not have my Resume on hand to go over. Afteward, he said they were making a decision the next week, and I would be contacted one way or the other. I was never contacted.
