      Interview

The interview process was extremely swift. The recruiter and coordinator were excellent at communicating from day one about the role, benefits, and the interview process. I had a total of 3 interview rounds ( including HR/recruiter screening ) and got the verbal offer 3 days after the final call. The whole process took about 3 weeks. This was one of my best interview experiences so far.

      Application

      Interview

The position was found using a connection on LinkedIn. It was never posted on any job site. Within a month, the hiring manager contacted me by phone with no notice to do a phone screen. Two days later he flew out to my city to interview me. The following Monday I had an offer delivered to me by HR. It was the fastest hiring process I've ever been through. They did not even ask for references. The interview itself lasted two hours and was done in a hotel coffee shop.

      Question 1

The hiring manager attempted to sketch what his business unit looked like and then used arrows to show how the market interacted with his business unit. He then asked me to sketch notes on how I would improve it around it. It was odd, but we spent about 45 minutes passing notes to each other with notes as if they were Visio drawings with processes and diagrams. He liked this approach and we often did this as we worked together in my tenure at the company.
