Fortunately, a former colleague of mine shared the contact information for one of Edelman's recruiters with me, and I was able to directly interact with her. I contacted her via email and received a response in a very timely manner, and she set up a phone interview for me with three of the team's VPs (as I was looking to relocate). From my phone interviews, I really got the perception that Edelman employs smart and business-savvy PR professionals, and my conversations with the VPs confirmed my strong interest in working for the company. The HR recruiter contacted me the day following my phone interviews to scheduled a time for in-person interviews with six corporate affairs team members as well as the writing test. I'd say I received my job offer within two weeks of my in-person interviews.
