Very professional and buttoned- up recruiting and interview process.
Contacted them through their website. After working with their recruiter, had an initial 1 hour phone screen with the hiring manager. Then flown in for an in- person interview which consisted of 4 group/ panel interviews with the functional leads team, production leads team, and then the art team (broken into two since it was so large)- with lunch and an hour tour of the campus.
Was contacted the following day by the recruiter who said the team really liked me and give them a few days to round up feedback and decide next steps. I'd brought up some salary and location issues (suspected the salary would be significantly lower than what I was making, and not a fan of Irvine) prior to the interviews and the recruiter gave me some tentative numbers. Things seemed like they were moving forward as I eventually spoke with the head of global hiring about additional benefits. I told them I'd need a few weeks to mull over the potential relocation. When I finally got back to them, they apparently were in the process of interviewing additional candidates. Finally heard back 4 months later that they extended an offer to someone else but that it had been a "difficult decision."
