Was a multiple-stage process but great communication and explanation of what the job entailed each time you met. Many open-ended questions about why you might be a good fit for the job. The interviewer listened to your answers.
I interviewed at 9pm my time to be more accommodating to the recruiter in a different timezone, but they kept the interview going for over double the 30 min slot we'd arranged, meaning i was still interviewing past 10pm my time - felt disrespectful of my time, especially as the recruiter didn't answer any of my questions about the job, barely told me anything about it (other than reading company personnel info at a brisk pace off a workday page infront of them in a way where I couldn't take anything in), and kept taking the conversation off topic. I was patient as the call kept being interrupted by her kid and pets - I get it, these things can happen - but she stopped and started the interview at least 5 times and kept me waiting. She then finally ended the interview by saying "I like you, i'll put you through to the hiring manager - just let me know any follow up questions over email!" I emailed follow up questions and she never came back. I sent a couple of chasers over the course of 3 weeks and never got a reply. Was ghosted, then one day got an automated email saying the position was closed. So incredibly unprofessional and inconsiderate of my giving up my evening to suit them, and I didn't get any knowledge of the position out of it.
