I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Gartner (Fort Myers, FL) in Oct 2017
Interview
The interview process was very in depth and lasted over a month. The process started with a screen call, just a get to know you and see if you're the right fit for Gartner. After the first initial call, it was followed by 2-3 more phone conversations with each one getting more deeper into things like; who are you, why sales, why Gartner, what drives you. Then one more phone interview with hiring manager and recruiter. The final stage is an on-site interview that lasts a few hours. This interview consists of a few more questions about what drives you, then followed by a whiteboard session, role play, brief written assessment and final feedback. During the entire process just be yourself, ask lots of questions and be prepared to explain why you want to be in sales and be able to give a specific reason about what drives you.

Question 1
What drives you? Why Gartner? Why sales? If you had to measure success in this role, how would you?
Three step process. Phone call to gauge fit. Second phone call to dive into personal characteristics/experience. Third interview in person to gauge knowledge of business and ability to conduct an exploratory sales call.

Interview
It was a 4 step process, took about 2 months to go through all 4. It was pretty basic for the first 2 rounds, the third had very difficult behavioral questions, and the last was a 2-3 hour whiteboard session with a sales call role-play.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Gartner in Oct 2017
Interview
Overall it was a very positive interview that lasted for about an hour. I had applied originally because I have a former colleague that has had a positive experience and being there for 3 years showed me that it had potential and opportunity to grow within the organization. On top of it being a well-run company and great reputation and benefits is why I decided to apply. Also allowed me to polish up my interviewing skills, since it's been over 5 years since being in this process again.
