      Full Stack Developer Interview

      1 May 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Gurgaon, Haryana
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Feb 2019

      Interview

Got direct call from Gartner. 1st round was online test. 2nd round was face to face with a technical guy. 3rd round was again face to face with highly technical guy. 4th round was scheduled but at last it was cancelled from HR. [almost 15 days after 3rd round] When I asked about the reasons behind this than HR told me that we need some more senior guy for this position. You are good and I am trying to find out position for you. We will call you when we have position for you. ** After 15 days they came to know that they need senior guy for this role.. very strange... Anyway...I accepted this just because Gartner is a very good company. After few days I got call from different HR for this role. I was totally shocked to hear this and I told HR regarding my previous interviews. Also I sent mails to the HR regarding this. But no response from anybody. The whole process was too slow that it completely wasted my 1 month. Conclusion: Clear rejection is better than false promises. Please don't waste time of candidates with holding their profiles. If he/she is not selected than clearly say it.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Jun 2019

      Interview

Consisted of 5 rounds starting with an online test comprising of java, React, Angular, JS and PLSQL questions. Since I was applying from a remote location, all of my interviews were on webex and each one lasted for about 1-2 hours. Questions asked included resume based questions, Kafka knowledge, design principles and your knowledge on design patterns is tested on scenarios a d what you've implemented. I was able to get through all rounds but was rejected based on some logic about "personality may hinder work", not sure why.
