      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Goldman Sachs (New York, NY) in Dec 2012

      Interview

I had an interview with GS at an engineering conference and I was called back for a second interview. The interview was onsite in NYC and they paid for all my travel expenses. When I arrived at Goldman Sachs, I was told that I would be participating in a "Technology Superday". They took me to a conference room where I was with about 15-20 other students and they gave each of us a folder with our schedules for the day. Each person had a different schedule and a different number of interviews. I personally was scheduled to have 9 interviews which was the maximum I could get. Each interview was 30 mins long and we had two breaks in between. 6 of my interviews were in NYC but 3 of them were in Jersey City so they provided me with a ferry ticket and I had to take the ferry on my own and get to the other building. It was a very stressful day because there were many back to back interviews. My day started around 8 am and I was done at 4:30 pm.
