I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Goldman Sachs (London, England) in Oct 2024
Interview
The process was highly technical, with questions on accounting, valuation methods (like DCF), and financial logic. The interview was fast-paced and focused more on practical knowledge than personal background. Overall, a challenging but structured experience.

Question 1
How would you value a company with negative EBITDA?
Applied online through the Goldman Sachs careers portal and completed a HireVue with behavioral and motivational questions. After passing the HireVue I was invited to a virtual Super Day that covered both the Wealth Strategist Group and the National Tax Group within Ayco. The Super Day consisted of back-to-back conversations with bankers across both groups, focused mostly on fit, motivation, and why Ayco specifically. The process moved quickly from HireVue to Super Day to offer, and I received the offer shortly after the Super Day concluded.

Question 1
Why Ayco, and why both Wealth Strategist Group and National Tax Group?
The interview included both behavioral and technical questions. The behavioral questions were situational questions to determine how you handle team environments and work under pressure. Overall, it was a positive experience.

Interview
The interview process starts with a basic resume review, which leads to the first "real" interview, which is with their AI system that asks you 5 questions and recorded on video. If you pass that, then you get your superday.
