I was referred to Hubspot by an employee--was very excited for the prospect to interview and made a trip to INBOUND the week before. The day after the referral was made I received an email from the recruiter who scheduled me for a phone interview for later that week. The recruiter I worked with was pleasant over email, but the day of the phone screen (on a Friday afternoon) they were quite a bit late and the conversation felt very rushed and curt. Questions were standard--how did I hear about HubSpot and what do I know about inbound marketing--along with my current experience and how it relates to the role I applied for. The conversation was just over 15 minutes at most (I was expecting a longer convesration) and the majority of their responses were "I'm glad we're on the same page." The recruiter explained next steps and that there would be ample opportunity for feedback after every stage; refreshing to know but not surprising from my referral's and friend's experience when they interviewed. The following morning comes and I receive a form email that they wouldn't be moving forward. I replied with my appreciation for their time and for any available feedback--it's been well over 2 weeks now and zero response. This experience was pretty disappointing given the other reviews and how my referral and interview pitched HubSpot.
