Applied through an internal employee. Had a video recorded interview followed by phone screen with HR. About a week later I had a video call with the hiring manager. Interviewer showed up 10 minutes late to the call and then had technical difficulties. A week after, I received a message saying they decided to move forward with other candidates because there was a lack of depth surrounding my answers on UX.... this was an entry level position meant for people with a non traditional background looking to grow and learn in the field. I, of course, have a lack of depth in UX and the reason for applying to this position was to get this experience and build a skill set in design. Job description was false advertisement. If they are looking for someone with more knowledge in the field of UX this shouldn’t be advertised as a position for someone who doesn’t have prior experience in UX.
