I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot in Jul 2022
Interview
The company stresses hard on the values and importance of people. But I dont think thats accurate.
I had invested in 7 interviews from start to finish, was told I cleared the interview bar but wasnt offered. Why, the business needs has changed.
This is stupidity at many levels. A candidate takes day off from the work , invests time in your Take home Assessments, spends time on tech screen and then virtual on site.. these all are themselves multi day process. And business needs dont change overnight.
I am @ one of the FAANG's, and was particular interested in hubspot only because of the culture part , I am glad I didnt join in and learnt after the fact how untrue that is.
Stay away , the company doesn't walk the talk. Very disappointed !
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot in Nov 2023
Interview
4 long interviews. They will drag out. They try and talk about their Culture Code, which is good in theory. However, they have grown to the point where they have the "Silicon Valley Elitist" mindset, I'd take their Culture Code pitch with a large grain of salt.

Question 1
For a Technical Deep Dive, they expect you to provide 3+ page outline of project that defines your experience. Sounds great, but instead of reviewing and letting you know if it's what they want, they will waste your time interviewing. They are looking for how experience matches to their perception of reality and 'scale'. I would definitely try and get someone to vet your proposal before wasting your time.
