I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Cambridge, MA) in Nov 2016
Interview
I applied online and was contacted by a recruiter via e-mail. She sent along information about a video interview, although after some confusion I actually never ended up completing it and moving forward anyway. The recruiter and I had an informal phone conversation, after which she put me forward to a second round. I had to prepare three technical tasks before the second round, which consisted of two half-hour Google hangout sessions. One of the hangout sessions consisted of a screen-share where I explained how I completed the tasks. I heard back a few days later that I was invited to a third round of in-person interviews at the Cambridge office. When I came into the office, I spoke to three different support managers for a half-hour each and was given a tour of the office. My interview was on a Friday and they got back to me with an offer by the following Wednesday!

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Boston, MA) in May 2016
Interview
A very long process with seven interviews starting with recording myself answer questions then moving through 3 phone interview then 3 more in person interviews in Boston. The self recorded interview was odd because you only had one chance to say what you wanted and the questions came from out of the blue. The phone interviews were much easier because you could read the person on the other end of the line and judge how you were doing. The in person ones were by far the easiest because you could read facial expressions.
Hi there - we like using the video interview as it enables us to give a greater number of candidates the opportunity to tell us more about themselves at the beginning of the process, but you're not alone in finding the format challenging. Our team here is working on developing a blog post with tips and best practices specifically to prepare for a video interview - keep an eye out for this topic on our Move on Up blog soon, and thanks for your feedback! - Becky
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Dublin, Dublin) in Mar 2016

2 phone calls (HR recruiter and Line Manager) - Cultural fit, past experiences and how do these relate to the role.
3 back to back interviews ( Senior Manager, Middle and Line Managers, Technical expert) - Cultural fit, past personal experiences, professional experience related to te role, technical knowledge and knowledge about what the company does.
Everyone is friendly and respectful. Don't expect questions from a script. The questions most of the time will be related to something you mentioned in your previous answer.
