I applied and sent in my resume for two positions I felt I had the best experience in; recovery coworker and replenishment coworker. In about a week or so I received message on my phone and an email about contacting HR for a telephone interview. I was being considered for the replenishment coworker position. The interview was pretty painless and asked simple basic questions about personal work experience and what would you do in certain work place scenarios. After that I received an email about attending a group interview at the store. The group interview was in business casual attire and a little over an hour with our group of 12. We introduced ourselves and answered questions delving more into work experience and more what would you do questions. Also, they talked about the company and asked what experience do you have with Ikea in general. After a week, I got an email stating that they were pursued other candidates for the recovery coworker position and I also received a letter in the mail stating my denial of the job due to my bad credit. From beginning to end, the process happened under a month.
Kind of bummed I didn't get to work here. Ikea is like a big toy store for me and being new to the area, this job would have helped out a lot.
