I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Insight Global (Austin, TX)
Interview
I was contacted on LinkedIn and scheduled an interview. I met with one person and then another person came into the room after the first person left. You start in recruiting - IT staffing, and then move up to an account manager. They train you on IT and how they work with their clients. In recruiting you'll spend 80% of your time in the office and 20% off site with an account manager. It can't take 6-8 months to get promoted from a recruiter to an account manager. The office is explained an an open environment (no cubicles), but can get crazy. The account manager builds and maintains relationships with Fortune 500 companies like Cisco and whole foods. Then the recruiter staff these businesses. The account manager takes the client on outings - lunch, sporting events, etc.
Small talk is the most importantly part of the interview process. They hire soley for personality and drive so if you show you can be natural with conversation that sets you apart.
easy just have to know how to small talk. they look for depth in your answers and how you can push yourself to be better. they just want to see that you can drive the conversation and be curious about the positon. no experience necesarry.. easy but tbh toxic work env iroment
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Insight Global (Dallas, TX) in Apr 2026
Interview
The interview process was like any other interview process with a recruiter. I ended up backing out, but it seems like they want people who are excited about the company and the role.
