      Principal Database Kernel Developer Interview

      5 Mar 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at InterSystems

      Interview

After a recruiter screening call, they wanted me to take an online technical test ("TET"). Apparently they weren't even going to show my resume to the hiring manager until I passed their 3 standard tests. The one-sidedness of the time investment was annoying, but I decided to continue anyway. But when I started that testing process, it turns out they wanted my webcam on for the entire time. That's when I noped out. If they're that disrespectful of my time, privacy, and honesty during the interview process, I can't imagine what it's like once they think I'm dependent on them for my salary.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

See my description of the interview process. The question was basically, "Will you debase yourself enough to jump through our hoops, to have the privilege of a hiring manager actually seeing your resume."
