I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Jacobs in Jul 2016
Interview
3 phone interviews to discuss my qualifications as they pertain to the job responsibilities. The posting on Jacobs Careers website for the job position I applied for was very informative-- the most informative job description I had every came across for while applying for entry-level engineering jobs actually. I knew exactly what was to be expected from me to excel in this position, and so all of the questions were focused on my project experience as it pertained to these job qualifications.

I applied through university. I interviewed at Jacobs
Interview
Very easy and straight forward. Relatively easy questions but all recruiters were very helpful and open to me asking questions. The total process only took about a week or two before an offer.
Relatively straightforward. First interview was with a recruiter. Couple weeks later their was a second, hour long interview with a panel of engineers. The interview was highly structured, not much time for questions.

Question 1
Lots of questions about my specific experiences. Later was shown several unlabeled textbook diagrams and was asked to identify and explain what's going on.

Interview
Three total interviews. First two with Jacobs supervisors and HR. The last interview which is called "meet and greet" is actually interview with the managers where you will be working. People get fooled by the name and mess up the interview. And people at Jacobs are complete bold faced liars, they told me multiple times its just a casual get together. But it is actually a formal interview.
