I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Jacobs (Melbourne) in Nov 2016
Interview
Two people interviewed me, they were very friendly and relaxed about it all.
I was expecting a lot more interview questions, but they were more interested in getting to know me and telling me about the company, which was nice.
They gave me a quick tour of the office and introduced me to some members of the team, then sat down with me to talk about the job.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What fields of engineering are you interested in?
Why did you choose to study engineering?
Standard process. First an online application, then a 10 minute phone / video screening, followed by an assessment centre with a face to face interview and team activity. No psychometric testing for me at least.

Question 1
Discuss a time you showed leadership within a team, what do you know about Jacobs, why did you apply, how do you juggle work/life? etc.
Mine was quite a standard interview that occurred after the typical online process. Went into office with two managers who were friendly enough. Asked standard questions with no surprises.
Standard online recruitment process, received a telephone call to come in for an interview a few days later. The interview itself was a casual and informal chat about the company, myself, my motivations, previous experience etc.
