I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at L.E.K. Consulting (London, England) in Dec 2018
Interview
I applied only with a CV and answering 2 cover letter type questions. Invited to an online GMAT style test approx. 4 weeks later. 10 days letter I was invited to an on-site GMAT test (32 questions in 30 minutes from a Pearson GMAT booklet: 16 questions were data sufficiency, and 16 questions were quantative). 2 interviews: the first one asked general questions and a strategy pharma case study question, while the second interview was a market sizing question (in theory), based on some printed power point slides.
One of the interviewers was very apathic and bored. He/she did not care at all about the interview or about me as a person. From the first question that I have to answer (which was: tell me about yourself), he/she looked totally uninterested as if it was a total burden for him/her to stay in the room interview with me. During the case study, I was not given much guidance, I was almost left to talk alone for 30 minutes. From time to time, he/she was just saying “Aha, aha”. The interviewer looked at me as if I was a very stupid person: no respect for my time there or for me as a person. When I tried to ask questions about the case study, I was left alone and the interviewer seemed irritated. Some of the biomedical details provided during the case study were scientifically wrong. At the end of the interview, when was my turn to ask questions, the interviewer almost said that there is no point for him/her to answer my questions. I also felt that the interviewer judges you based on your physical appearance. It was one of my first interviews in a corporation and the interviewer did not make it look comfortable at all.
The other interviewer was much friendlier, and the discussion run more smoothly. However, at the same time, it looked like he/she does not care about me and is just a duty for him/her to be there at the interview. Quite a lot of time was spent on small talk. The HR told me that I am going to have approximately 10 minutes to look over some Power Point slides. This did not happen. The interviewer provided me with one slide alone approx. every 4 minutes and was asking me questions (i.e. do percentages based on the graphs from the slides). It also looked like he/she did not ask all the questions that were supposed to be asked during the interview. At the end, he/she was so rushed that he/she did not provide time for me to ask questions about the company or the position. My personal guess is that the first interviewer discussed with the second one during the changeover and the second interview was pointless.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
General questions: Tell me about yourself; Why consulting? Why L.E.K.?
1) Market sizing question on medical equipment and consumables. Details and numbers were provided on Power Point slides. Graphs were not difficult. Asked to calculate percentages. You need to pay attention at the graphs’ axes.
2) The client has in its early development cannabis patches to treat pain. At the same time, it sales opioid medication. Should it continue with the development of the patches?
I applied online. I interviewed at L.E.K. Consulting (London, England) in Oct 2025
Interview
The process consisted of an online psychometric test, a Zoom-based maths test, and a case interview. After each stage, it took one to two months to receive a response. Following my second-round case interview in November, I didn't hear back until March — a delay of over four months at that stage is pretty impressive.

Interview
Submitted CV online. Was invited to an online test one month later. Then there was another round of timed-NRT via zoom. As for the first round case interview, the virtual interview link was sent out only until the start of the interview. The whole arrangement was not good.
