The process consisted of two rounds. The first round consisted of a high-level review of my motivation and background with the project lead of the group. The second round consisted of several technical questions regarding the design and analysis of control systems that were answered verbally. Two interviewers conducted the second round, and at the end, I met with a panel consisting of three more engineers in addition to the first two.

I was asked to review a Bode plot and identify key points on it. They showed a picture on the screen and allowed me to make annotations as well. I was asked to walk them through the design of a control system for a hypothetical robotic gripper from start to finish.
