I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at NVIDIA (San Jose, CA) in Nov 2019
Interview
The interview had several coding questions alongside many ML-related questions. It was a hard interview, but the process was very good. The person who interviewed helped me during some of the questions and we discussed several methods to solve questions. Overall, it was a very good experience.

I applied online. I interviewed at NVIDIA (Santa Clara, CA) in Dec 2025
Interview
HR Screening followed by Hiring Manager Interview and then multiple technical rounds. The technical rounds included basic ML questions, culture ML debugging, research presentation, distributed training and more. This was followed by a culture interview which was also pretty technical.
Remote. Good conversation. Talked l lot about research directions and general research process. No coding. 3 in total. No feedback from previous one. Need to have a lot of papers or internship experience.
Asked to introduce myself and my recent projects.
Asked questions while explaining.
What was annoying and discouraging was that the interviewer was busy throughout the whole interview and seemed not interested. He was clicking, typing, and watching other monitors. Felt like not being respected.
