In total I had three Interviews at Nvidia, a standard process.
First technical Interview with a senior and a group manager. They describe the job and process in detail, and were very positive. It was not 100% what I looked for but the Manager called me afterwards to say I'm a a good candidate etc and exactly what he is looking for and I got a good vibe so I continued.
The Second Interview, called technical. However was not asked any coding questions or any hands on question... very weird., and quite low quality
Third with HR.
I was called to the next interview soon after finishing
So I was surprised I didn't get an offer right away, since I answered all the questions.
Reason being - they got the impression that I gave the impression that Im not looking for a hands on position. Which felt kind of unfair
I also had a struggle with their way of counting experience.
Overall, to get in just say you want to work there and code and be OK with whatever the terms.
There were 2 1-hour phone interviews and 1 on site interview with 5 rounds, each with 1 hour. It took one month in total. Very nice interviewers and good interview experience.
Interview is 1 technical phone round and 6 in-person rounds . 1 hour technical phone round is in PST night hours , some one called from India , than called to in person round
Interview is overall great , it's a combination of business and technical members .
After the interview next day HR called and mentioned you are almost done , just waiting for some more feedbacks.
Some one from NVIDIA called to my client manager asked for the feedback and all.
But finally after 2 weeks they said position is delayed until next year, can't going forward ..
All hopes are destroyed , and bad thing is they informed to my client manager .. Now I am in a radar that, they think I can leave any time and I may not get future projects
This the worst part and be careful with this
