      Investment Banking Analyst Interview

      13 Oct 2015
      Anonymous employee
      London, England
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at NatWest Group (London, England) in Nov 2011

      Interview

A whole assessment day. Split into the following parts: 1. Quantitative test. Very very simple calculations but simply a lot of them for a short time period and the numbers that need to be used and buried in multiple tables, graphs and the likes - such tests are very standard for bank interviews, typically one needs to do such when applying online as well. 2. Similar test to the above but with an accounting touch (and never saw such at other banks) - but no accounting knowledge required 3. Kind of "corporate" exercise - one is given the annual review and few similar documents for a large company and asked to answer a few questions like "Suggest a hedging strategy", "Identify key weaknesses" and other similar. 4. Group exercise - in a group of 5 or so, discussing the results from the previous exercise; need to agree on a "Main topic to present to the company" 5. 1-to-1 interviews with 2 people, c. 30min each

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

If am the CEO of SAS and would like to improve my image / passanger numbers / customer satisfaction - ideas?

      Question 2
