The interview process was as a result of passing online tests. This progress to an online pre-recorded interview where it took under 45 mins to answer the questions the asked. They gave preparation time to plan your answers
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They were interested in your personality and experiences
I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Network Rail (Milton Keynes, England) in Mar 2019
Interview
Went through the process:
Application, situational judgement test, then verbal/numerical test.
Second to last was the video interview questions "Why NR", situational questions, so "what would you do if you have a deadline for one manager and the week of submission, another manager gives you another assignment with the same dealine and importance" "what would you do if your manager doesn't believe you can take on a role properly and is relucant to help you and not responding to your emails" "how would you research on a project" "deadline rescheduled much earlier than normal, what would you do"
questions like that
Then after is the assessment centre, was only 4 hours, in Milton Keynes. started at 12.45, left at 16.30. Was told to prepare a presntation 2 weeks prior, topic: "what are you passionate about". They were extremely accomodating, picked us up from the train station at 12, got there, chatted with other students, before they started the program. They first introduced themselves (NR), then Q and A with the graduates. Then i had my interview/presentation, with 2 interviewers. first presented my 5 min presentation then proceeded to the interview
Questions: Motivational questions, why NR? questions related to project management roles, so what are the steps in a project, "what would you do if two teams joining together at NR had conflict""why you chose this topic for your presentation"
Took about 45 mins i think including the presentation and questions followed. No tests, no group work, literally just an interview and presentation. maybe the new process? don't know
Then within two weeks they'll get back to you.
Email-rejected
Called-accepted, pass through or on reserve list
Then after you get invited for drug test and other medical tests, about to do this, thank God

Interview
simple online application > answer few questions about yourself > invited to do a test on the phone which is like playing an app which separate into 3 parts: 1 maths 2 verbal reason 3 IQ test
the maths one is fairly easy, it aims is to find pattern within sequence, but have to familiar with their answering system and the question is quite typical
the verbal reason is ok, a paragraph will be provided for each 4/5 of questions, select the correct answer according to the paragraph
the IQ test is easy, it is finding pattern and knowing the sequence which is the easiest out of the 3.
