I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Oracle (Paris) in May 2025
Interview
Unfortunately, my interview experience was disappointing from the start, despite genuine excitement on my end. I’m an alum of the company, and I was sincerely open to rejoining - familiar with the culture, the products, and the opportunity. I expected at least a decent conversation.
Instead, I was met with what felt like a box-ticking exercise.
The recruiter had clearly not reviewed my resume, nor did he look at me during the video call. He read from a script throughout, interrupted me constantly without listening to the answers, and seemed more focused on “getting through the form” than understanding my background or goals.
When I asked what stood out about my profile, I received a response that felt dismissive and condescending: “Well, obviously if we’re talking, there’s something of interest on your CV.” That was after I had just answered the “Why Oracle?” question with thought and enthusiasm.
At no point did I feel genuinely engaged or seen as a professional. I withdrew my application immediately after the call. That is something I’ve never done before.
Recruiters are the first face of a company. Their tone, curiosity, and preparation matter. This experience made me rethink not only the role but the brand.

Question 1
"Why did you leave this job? And this job?" While interrupting me numerous time not listening to the answer.
Screening with Recruiter and 1st stage with HM. No feedback after interview, even after following with an email still no feedback which is a shame for such a big name.
