      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Procter & Gamble (Cairo, Cairo Governorate) in Dec 2010

      Interview

Application is submitted online with answers to basic general questions, and an updated Resume. A resoning test is called for, passing scores may nominate you for a manegerial or a non-manegerial post. A series of interviews (3-4) is then called for. Interviewers are senior managers in the company, who go through your previous life/career experience (mainly no-technical) to hunt for personal traits that will promote you to succeed within the company. P&G hires the person, not the post. So you are basically elligible to fill any job post pwing to your personal traits, and job roation will ensure you don't stick to the same job for long anyway.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Procter & Gamble (London, England) in Dec 2021

      Interview

First off you have an online assessment: Multiple situational questions( I think they are looking for leadership, honesty and putting the company first answers) basic numeracy skills, (choosing numbers to fit an equation) logic(using numbers and letters ) remembering dots and patterns under pressure( don't panic I was slow and passed) Personality type question( questions where you have to choose form least to most just remember to be social, honest, and a leader my advice) These tests can be found online or YouTube I suggest you give them ago as i went in blind and thought I did terrible but did pass so not too difficult. If you pass then you have 2 interviews I had them on video call (pandemic) first with 1 interviewer then with 2. Both interviews were very similar and they all ask the same kind of questions 5 based on experience and 2 based on situational. The interviewer told me they have set questions they pick from so if you pass the first, your more than likely pass the second. I got an offer a day later but I'm guessing depends on how urgently they want to recruit. Hope who ever is thinking of joining the best. The company do have a lot of perks to them and the wages are decent.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Questions asked were : 1.Name me a time you showed leadership and had to make a difficult decision. 2.Name me a time you used something you learnt and implemented in another area. 3.Name me a time you made something easier. 4.Name me a time you done something safety related. 5.Name me a Time where you improved a process. The two situational questions were based more on disagreements at work or dealing with difficult colleagues it was more about how to defuse compromise and persuade(my opinion) .

      Interview

Multiple interviews with response to a situation type question. Can be challenging. Encouraging HR throughout process. Open ended responses and sometimes a question based off your response. I think there was 2 interviews and a test required to take based off physics and situations.
