I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Rakuten (Tokyo)
Interview
The process took roughly 4 months. I was interviewing for an entry level position. After the resume screening a coding test (codility) was conducted as well as an interview with prerecorded questions. 3 interviews followed. The interviewers were of higher rank each time.
Questions were mostly non-technical, asking about my experience with certain technologies. I have not encountered questions about coding, as others have according to glassdoor.
The (changing) recruiters usually answered rather quickly. They could have made the whole process a bit more clear from the beginning. I usually received messages about the results of the interview stages within 2 days.
Negotations were smooth and very fact based. The recruiter just forwarded my reasons to the responsible managers, who then decided on a new offer.

Question 1
Leetcode question - no coding - just mention the approach. System design question.
Disorganized, no HR reached out to discuss about the administrative details and salary and benefits, the hiring manager reached out directly, scheduled a meeting and asked about HR questions(visa, RTO etc.)
The hiring manager was late for over 5 mins minutes, no apologies, no greetings. Negative experience
The interview covered Python libraries, networking, and my software engineering experience. While questions were basic, they can be tricky for seniors. Review your definitions alongside your past projects to succeed.
